Sesame Blue Cheese Ball

This particular cheese ball will always have a place in my heart. For starters, it is a recipe from a dear friend of mine. I first had this tasty ball of cheesy goodness almost 20 years ago. A mutual childhood friend of ours was having a holiday party. Elizabeth brought this cheese ball and I was reluctant to taste it. Especially when she told me it was made with blue cheese. Even now, I may have more an appreciation for blue cheese, I still am not a fan. My younger self did not have the appreciation for the moldy white crumbly cheese.

Elizabeth, in true Elizabeth fashion, talked me into giving the ball a chance. I was hooked at first bite. I think I ate my weight in that cheese ball. Then the party was over and the cheese ball was gone. Fast forward a few years, this cheeseball popped into my brain and had my saliva glands on full alert. I gave Elizabeth a call and got the recipe. I made it for a few parties and just as quickly as I started making the ball of goodness, I stopped. No rhyme or reason why, it just fell out of rotation.

Until September of 2022. This cheese ball popped right back into my brain and a text message was sent to get that recipe. Elizabeth responded right away and agreed to allowing me to sharing this perfect snack for any and all styles of gatherings.
