CATERING LIAISON POSITION

Pay: $20 per hour, with potential for growth

Earn up to 1 week (24+ hours) of paid vacation

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Part-Time Catering Liaison. This position offers flexible hours, the potential for growth, and the opportunity to contribute to a growing business while working with an incredible team.

Responsibilities:

Respond to client emails and work closely with the Chef to develop menus and pricing for client invoices.

Collaborate with the Event team to introduce yourself to clients, gain insights on how events are run, and identify areas for improvement.

Opportunity to become an event captain, earn more per hour, collect additional tips, and take on more hours while ensuring smooth event operations.

Follow up on payments, collect deposits, and ensure financial details are up-to-date.

Maintain an updated client list.

Input recipe data, manage allergen alerts, and create food labels for events.

Calculate payroll on a biweekly basis.

Compile and input inventory sheets, working closely with the kitchen team to track what items have been made for stock. (Example: 75 sesame seed slider rolls baked on 2/15, added to the updated inventory.)

Monitor the cost of goods, update the system, and adjust pricing as needed.

Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage Google reviews.

Send thank-you notes or small tokens of appreciation to repeat clients.

Create shopping lists based on upcoming event invoices.

Procure goods needed for the kitchen.

Work Schedule:

Flexible, negotiable hours and days.

Expected hours: up to 24 hours per week.

Additional hours may be available for kitchen or event support.

Skills Required:

Strong communication skills and excellent customer service.

Ability to multitask and proficient use of Pages, PDF, Excel, and email on Apple Computer/IPad

Proficient in using Instagram and Facebook, with the ability to create content that aligns with The Bell House's mission and style.

Self-starter with effective time management skills.

Hardworking with a passion for being part of a growing business.

Must love food!

EVENT CREW:

This gig is part time and choose your own schedule situation. Once an event comes up, an email goes out and it is a first come position grab. We are looking for bartenders, kitchen and servers that love to work with people.
